Enter the Virtual Race, and be in with a chance to win a mini-break to Les Sables d'Olonne

If you've been inspired to take part but don't fancy tackling the southern ocean, sign up to take part in the virtual race instead, from the comfort of your own desk!

Taking part in the Virtual Race is simple and free, and anyone who joins the bluQube "friends" list will be in with a shout of winning our bluQube Global Ocean Race prize - a mini-break to the Race Village in Les Sables d'Olonne at the end of the race, including flights, accommodation, and a day's sailing with veteran sailor and race director, Josh Hall. The top placed competitor in our bluQube "friends" list will be winging their way to join us in Les Sables d'Olonne. The winning time takes into account the 4th and 5th legs plus your best time from any of the other 3 legs.

But that's not all...winners of the 5 individual legs from the bluQube "friends" list will be given the chance to sail in a class 40 boat with the Phesheya Racing team after the race has finished in July next year.

Simply click on the Virtual Race below to sign up, and join the bluQube "friends" group so we know who you are and can enter you into our competition. Once you've signed up click on the 'Headquarters' tab and press the "Search" button. Enter "bluQube", click on the "bluQube" profile, and click on the "Add Friend" button.

Or simply sign up for the virtual race and click here to mail us with your boat name, and we'll come and find you!

The small print...

The lucky winner of the mini-break will need to be available to travel in June 2012. Exact dates will be confirmed nearer the time. With sailing events you never quite know when they're going to finish!

We'll do our very best to arrange a mutually convenient time for a sailing session for the winners of the individual race legs.

Winners may be asked to take part in reasonable publicity.

The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be given.
